Parc Howard Mansion is a country house built by the Buckley brewing family in 1885 and set in 27 acres of parkland, now a civic park. In 1912 the mansion was given to the town by Sir Stafford and Lady Howard who had inherited it. The museum, park and site is now managed by Carmarthenshire County Council.
Within the house is the Museum best known for its large collection of Llanelly Pottery, 19th century in origin and locally made.
It also houses paintings, portraits and other art works and displays artifacts relating to the local area, its history and culture.
